UEFA European Cup EURO 2016 groups and teams

The European Cup Euro 2016 officially starts June 10, 2016 with the opening match between France, the host country Romania. Both teams belong to group A. The match will take place at the stadium Saint Denis in Paris at 21h (CET).

The final phase of the Euro 2016 consists of 24 teams, divided into 6 groups. You find below the European countries whose teams will compete for the European Cup UEFA Euro 2016, and their respective groups.

Euro 2016 Group A Teams (1st group)

The European national teams which compose the Group A are : France, Romania, Albania and Switzerland. France and Switzerland are the favorite teams to advance to the 8th finals.

The European national teams which compose the Group C are : Germany, Ukraine, Poland and Northern Ireland. Germany and Poland are the favorite teams to advance to the 8th finals.
